Common reasons applicationsget delayed or rejected
Every year, avoidable mistakes cost applicants time, money, and sometimes their visa altogether. The rules are precise, and the margin for error is thin.
Wrong visa category
Eligibility rules differ significantly between visa types. Applying under the wrong category is one of the most common reasons a dossier gets refused outright.
Incomplete financial proof
Missing or incomplete bank statements, income proof, or sponsorship letters raise doubts about your ability to sustain your stay, and frequently trigger delays or rejection.
Translation and legalization errors
Inconsistent name spellings, incorrect authentication order, or translations from non-accredited providers are among the most common causes of document rejection.
Some visa categories take weeks to prepare and process, and starting close to your travel date leaves no room to fix a missing document. We work with every type of Thai visa: tell us about yours, or describe your situation if you're not sure which applies.

A fixed price for your case, sent once the review is done. It covers our work and your specialist's. Government and embassy fees are set by the authorities and paid separately. Nothing moves forward until you approve it.
One list, built for your category and your embassy, with what each document must show, not just its name.
Spelling, dates, translations, legalisation order. The errors that get applications refused are caught here, not at the counter.
The best specialist for your case files it at the embassy, and you're kept posted on every status change. Embassies sometimes ask for extra documents, case by case: no one can prevent that, but we handle it with you.
If it's a yes, we go through the dates that matter with you: entry validity, length of stay, renewal deadline. If it isn't, we tell you what can be done next.
Visa decisions are made solely by the Thai immigration authorities and by the embassy handling your file. Outcomes vary with the visa category, the applicant's profile and each office's own processing. No previous result guarantees a future one.

What You Need to Know Before You Apply
Common questions before you start your visa process.
Thai immigration draws a clear distinction between a visa's validity and the length of stay it authorizes on each entry. These are two different dates, and only the second one carries legal weight. A DTV visa, for example, is valid for 5 years, but each entry only authorizes a stay of up to 180 days. The date that matters legally is the admitted until stamp in your passport from your most recent entry, not the visa's expiry date printed on the visa itself.
Overstaying your permitted length of stay, even by a single day, triggers a fine of 500 THB per day, capped at 20,000 THB. Beyond 90 days, the consequences go further. Departing voluntarily typically results in a re-entry ban of one year, while being caught by immigration authorities can mean a ban starting at five years, regardless of how long the overstay lasted.
Each Thai immigration office applies its own margin of interpretation when reviewing supporting documents. Two applicants with near identical situations can receive different outcomes depending on which office processes their file, which is why local knowledge of the specific office handling your case matters.
If a document is rejected, a category turns out to be a poor fit, or your situation changes mid process, you're not on your own. Reach out and describe what happened. We'll help you understand your options and connect you with the right partner to get things back on track.

The visa process can feel overwhelming: the paperwork, the deadlines, the back and forth between offices. That's exactly why we're here. Our job is to take the stress out of it, so you can focus on what actually matters, settling into your new life in Thailand, visa in hand. Start my application
